Quote for the Students

I am a teacher! What I do and say are being absorbed by young minds who will echo these images across the ages. My lessons will be immortal, affecting people yet unborn, people I will never see or know. The future of the world is in my classroom today, a future with the potential for good or bad. The pliable minds of tomorrow's leaders will be molded either artistically or grotesquely by what I do.

HEALTH ATTENTION

HELP PREVENT AH1N1 AND DENGE!

TO PREVENT DENGUE:

  • Self-Protection
Use non-toxic, anti-mosquito skin repellants. Spray the areas that you occupy with environment-friendly insecticides.
Without prejudice to existing University policies, all female students and employees are highly advised to wear pants. As per DOH advisory, please avoid wearing dark colored clothes/apparel since they attract Dengue Mosquitoes.

  • Seek immediate treatment. Consult the Health Service if you have the following symptoms: fever, headache, rashes, and bleeding of the nose and gums.
  • Help in the Mosquito Search and Destroy efforts. Report to the UST Health Service identified breeding places (presence of kiti-kiti in areas/containers with stagnant water) of Dengue Mosquitoes
